Alive Roots by Abraham Votroba and Petrona Gonzalez, who with dedication and care have managed to capture the experiences of Aboriginal Community Mbya Iguazu, with their songs to the gods, explanation of its history, a particular interpretation of the life of the Mbya and their codes. Almost all the chapters of this book begin and end in verse written by the authors.
Transcribed texts and quotes from Leon Cadogan, part of our Constitution, the Constitution of Misiones, the Mbya Constitution with a complementary study by Abraham correctly. This work has a remarkable documentary importance, fundamental to deepen the knowledge of the Mbya culture that enlivens and projects the beliefs and myths of the Guarani region. In this work, Abraham and Petrona show us the spiritual and magical world of our natives who still populate the land of Misiones.
This book reflects the cultural reality of the region in a present and adds a valuable additional bibliography for those interested in the topic.
